Come back to yourself.

You don’t have to have it all figured out.

Counselling for folks navigating identity, self-worth, relationships, boundaries and life’s transitions.

My Counselling Philosophy

I work from a feminist, trauma informed strength based approach who provide quality mental health care. As a psychotherapist, I provide a safe non-judgemental space for clients to explore their innermost fears and challenges. Let me help you reveal skills you never thought you had.

Are you looking to speak to someone who can relate to what it feels like being a newcomer to Canada? It can feel like a relief to finally speak with someone where you do not have to explain what it feels like to be an immigrant or why as an adult your parent’s opinion matters a great deal. I specialize in working with folks that identify as BIPOC. BIPOC stands for Black, Indigenous and People of Colour. I understand from personal experience the complex layers that can influence one’s mental health living in a culture that is different from the one you are born in.

A new chapter in Nova Scotia.

I’m excited to share that I’ve recently relocated to Halifax, Nova Scotia where I’m continuing to offer counselling through my private practice.

While my location has changed, my commitment to providing a warm, compassionate, and supportive space for clients remain the same.

I’m currently welcoming new clients from Nova Scotia, New Brunswick and Manitoba both online and in person.

Counselling that meets you where you are.

Whether you feel most comfortable connecting from the comfort of your own home, sitting together in person, or finding space to reflect outdoors, therapy can take different forms.

In-person sessions

Connect with me in comfortable, private setting where we can create space to slow down, reflect, and work through what’s bringing you to counselling.

Online sessions

Virtual counselling offers the flexibility to connect from wherever you feel most comfortable. Online sessions are available for clients throughout Halifax and Dartmouth Nova Scotia. I am also accepting clients from New Brunswick and Manitoba.

Eco-therapy

For those who feel connected to nature, ecotherapy offers an opportunity to incorporate the natural environment into the therapeutic process. Sessions may include walking, spending time outdoors, and using nature as a space for reflection, grounding and connection.

Outdoor sessions are currently available at

  • Point Pleasant in Halifax

  • DeWolf in Bedford

  • Sullivan’s Pond in Dartmouth

* In cases of inclement weather, we may need to reschedule or switch to online therapy depending on what is best for you.
